Man, were these indigenous Bolivians ever happy. Led by a thumping and tooting brass band, lines of kids and then lines of women and then not-so-straight lines of men because they were on the hooch paraded and danced and caroused up and down the city's main avenue filling the damp evening with colour and fun and that's why the kid is smiling and made me laugh.

Led by a thumping and tooting brass band, lines of kids and then lines of women and then not-so-straight lines of men because they were on the hooch paraded and danced and caroused up and down the city's main avenue filling the damp evening with colour and fun and that's why the kid is smiling and made me laugh.
